But how can the economy be blamed on Obama? He just got in office. He hasnt even had his shot at screwing everything up like Bush did.

Give him time though.... :watching:

not blaming obama dean, it is clearly aimed at your major business people who are asking your gov for a handout to keep operating....

Personally I feel that if any of these businesses take any bail out money (one penny) that they shouldn't be able to lay off people, or close plants and stores.

Every time these businesses lay off another person it's a trickle down effect that hurts and hurts and hurts and hurts.......

How can a free enterprise system not be subject to layoffs or closing plants or stores?

Shouldn't that be based on the profitability of that enterprise and the free market strategy of it's controlling executives?

All businesses take risks. Many take loans to manage the growth and day to day operations. If these 'bailouts' aren't actually loans then they are gifts, which is nothing more than theft by conversion by our government and misuse of responsibility.

Questions then become... who gets it and who doesn't? And should our government be in the industrial loan business?

No matter how the money comes to a business, if it doesn't live and die by the rules governing free enterprise in a free market, then it is a socialism program. Nothing more. The effect of which is to perpetuate businesses that should die, and retard healthy growth of more effective new business.

Is that worth keeping a bunch of people locked up in a non-productive warehouse collecting checks for a business on life support?

Not if you believe that free enterprise for all of it's cruel cycles, rather than socialism with it's enslavement is the answer.

I'm a free enterprise, live and die follower all the way.

Socialism is nothing but financial slavery.

Pretty much so... :yes::yes:

But if I didn't give you guys a hard time about him, what would you being posting to right now...:baffled:

I really dont care who is president.... they are all as crooked as the other. All we can do, is sit here and take it up the, in Putts words, cinnamon ring, and there's not a damned thing we can do about it. And dont give me that voting speach.... there sure seemed to be a lot of voters against Obama, but who is president now....

Anyway... just stirring the pot.... I couldn't care less who destroys our nation, if not Obama, another president was sure on the right track.... :winker:

Some day everyone will figure out if they just take responsibility for their own lives instead of trying to find someone to blame all their failures on they might just solve the problems.
