here is a picture of my homemade trailer. It is 4' wide 8' long and 4' high sleeps two and has a small rear galley. It pulls like a dream. Constructed of 2" foam and canvas.

Very nice trailer.

Do you have any pics of the inside?

Do you have any pics while you did the construction?

The wife and I would like to build something like that. We have been looking at different plans.

That is probably the biggest MC trailer that I have ever seen. MrsY likes camping, but she has upgraded from a tent to a cabin, or bigger. She has even considered buying a camper. I wonder if I could get her interested in this kind of camper, so I don't have to buy a new cage to pull a bigger one.

I found out all my info at http://http://www.tnttt.com/viewforum.php?f=21&sid=da7e1272e4e7f4379b8c828dc38303a8'>http://www.tnttt.com/viewforum.php?f=21&sid=da7e1272e4e7f4379b8c828dc38303a8]http://http://www.tnttt.com/viewforum.php?f=21&sid=da7e1272e4e7f4379b8c828dc38303a8 Click on the board index and scroll down until you see a group called foamies and it will give you as much info as you need to decide if you want to build one. These trailers are very light and are towable with smaller vehicles. You can build a 14 or 16 footer as some of the people on the board did and tow it with a small car. I have pictures of my build under motorcycle foamie on this board. The inside of my camper is unfinished as of now so I have not taken pictures yet. As soon as time allows I wwant to get it finished and go camping in it. Hope this helps you .

I am all for being creative. But it looks like it would catch a lot of wind. I does generate an idea for me. Do the foam but in a pop up side style. That way rolling camper would only be in the 2 foot tall range.

I have that idea too. My next one will be in the form of a pop up but with solid sides like an a-liner. That way I can go a tad wider for a queen size bed and will have a low profile.

Then you should have way more experience than me. This is my first and I still have the inside to do. have not pulled it on a long trip yet so not sure how it will affect my milage. Should have it done by spring ,then I will give it a good test.

I would love to make something like this in an old streamliner style. or with a more > like front to cut the wind.
