I just purchased a 83' gl1100i. Never owned a wing before, probably asking why I would purchase an old one first. Well that's because I'm cheap and and like ol' school. Just purchased and want to get off to good start to get lined out for good summer ride. Manual that the gentleman gave to me with the bike is not real clear. I'm trying to find out where to check my oil levels. The previous owner hasn't ridden the bike in approx. a year. Seafoam in a new tank of gas should hopefully clean and lubricate carbs, correct? Now if you have anything that you would like to add that I may need to or should do please feel free to tell me. All info will be greatly appreciated.

I used to know (had an 82 GL1100i), and if I was there, I could show you. Try the Technical section for GL1100s and get search the forum for an answer that may have been given before to your question. In any case,
