Who rode New Year's Day?

Our local GWRRA chapter (TX Y-2) had a great ride NY day. It started off a little nippy, but after lunch I shed the heavy gloves, and ended up opening zippers and the windshield vent. If I remember correctly, we had nine bikes and 11 riders. A wonderful way to start the new year. :running:

Define "ride". OK, so no, I didn't. I envy you guys south and west, this time of the year. Glad you had a good time.

New Years Day?

Hmm put the signals back on my Vulcan, and went about 15 miles with friends.

Would have taken the goldwing, but still waiting on more parts.

I know if this weather stays in the 30's and 40's and the road dry up, I will be out on a quick ride before long.

Well if the temp was at least in the 40's I'll accept that a jacket could be an option...

OK. Low 40's to start, but ended up in the mid 60's. Yesterday was 80, a record high for the date. There were scores and scores out on the highways, but we were in a cage (bummer). The only problem yesterday was the wind. I was watching a guy right behind us on his bike looking as if he were rounding a curve all the time.
