Posting my trailer....

I've been looking for trailer for a while and I found exactly what I wanted. I had built a HF trailer and car top carrier trailer to carry my camping gear...but wanted more. Just about two years ago I came across a Bunkhouse camper (1980's model) on Ebay and actually won the bid on it. I had to drive to Maryland to pick it up (live in GA). But I have to say it was a great purchase. Bunkhouse trailers are still made by BF-Specialties http://www.bf-specialties.com/ new is bigger of course!

What is best about the camper is no more sleeping on the ground. Since we purchased the camper we took it on a trip to Calif and visited many National parks and friends. Sets up real easy and has great storage capacity. Can't say enough about this trailer. (got it for a steal....$600 on Ebay)

I really like the Bunkhouse trailers. 1 question - can you carry a small a/c unit and place it when you camp? It gets sooooo hot down here in the South that in the mid-Summer it can be miserable without one. You know, you're in GA!!

The new BunkHouse trailer do have the option of having A/C..but I would assume that would relieve you of carrying a cooler for liquid refreshments! Tough choice!!

I went for a tent "ceiling fan"..just got it and used it about a week ago..gives nice air circulation and I still get to have a Mike's Hard Lemonade or two!

I'd really like to find one of those. My parents used to have one, but sold it and bought one they have to pull behind their truck.

I'm using a tent for my camping.

Just did an upgrade to the trailer. Called B-F Specialties and ordered a new tent for the trailer. Original one was over 20 yrs old and was starting to get multiple rips. Got the new cover and took about an hour to replace. Looks GREAT! Can't wait to go camping again!!
