LOL well I enjoy your company everytime I see you Frank.

About ready to go get some more of that BBQ too in fact.

Hope to see Sue again soon as well. She's a doll buddy. You better keep that one bro.

Our best to both of you.

Well i have to ask what ever happened to the days when a group of people could

stand together and when the prayer was said the ones who wanted to bow there

head and pray could the ones who chose not to would stand in silence out of

respect to the rest. Oh yeh Respect that was it we had respect for other people

no matter what there race creed or religion.

I am not a member of the GWRRA and never will be so i cannot say much about it

except ask a question. If you are a due paying member of the organization and have

not violated any bylaws how can they tell you you are not welcome anymore.

Sounds like a bunch of Hypocritical &^%$%#@(*& to me.

Clancy Munson

proud to say i will always respect others beliefs but i expect the same in return

oops one more thing i thought riding motorcycles was all about freedom ????

Well said Geezer, I have been defending the right for our country for over 20 years now and it pisses me off that let the opinions or feelings of few affect the rights and freedoms of many.

@Geezerglider: Your strong Christian convictions and legitimate American values are well accepted in the circles of real Americans who have served this country and will defend her to the end. The time will come when the sheep will be seperated from the goats. Until that time, know that many honest, God fearing Americans stand with you.

I just completed a 1900 mile run with my new car tire and trailer on and I didn't need anything from GWRRA once.

Now if people could just get away from Microsoft that easily we could really begin to talk about being free.

I'm new here and should maybe just keep my trap shut on a controversal topic but since my brain to mouth filter is a bit weak I'll proceed.

By having quit/asked to leave the GWRRA and formed an informal group of riders (which you could always have with GWRRA) mostly because they forbid prayer at the beginning of a meeting, but it sounds like they did offer a moment of silence which would give people a chance to reflect individually and pray on their own if they so desired. What have you really gained?

I doubt that the informal group will now join up for a ride at the local coffee shop and before putting on your helmets, gather in a circle and have prayer time. So really nothing was gained. You have exactly what you had before without the benefits that GWRRA offered.

I'm a believer, but I really don't care to share my prayers with others at a motorcycle meeting. I pray at church on Sundays, before family meals and individually. If I wanted a group to ride and pray with I'd join a christian motorcycle group.

Just my two cents worth.

Tank 4300 said "At our chapter we just ask if anyone objects and when they dont we open with prayer.."

So, Tank 4300, how would your group handle the situation if someone objects to an open prayer session?

Only one in our chapter objected, but he was the director. The majority left. That's the way it is these days. The manority rules.

I got lost in that series of question answers i think

Rudy needs to get together with Bob and give us the

scoop on what all that really meant????

I think this one has been beaten up pretty bad now we need

some humor in our life. Where is Bob and Rudy when you

need them?

Clancy,

It all meant that if you are on one side of the fence and you don't believe in something you let it go and live on.

If you are on the other side of the fence if someone does something you don't like you petition to have everything other than what you believe banned.

Other than that "Screw it let's ride"

I went to Dairy Queen the other day and they served me just as if I were GWRRA.

I thought you had to be GWRRA to get served there. :baffled:

They did ask me if I wanted the magic dust on my ice cream. Whatever that was.

Go figure.

some bad stuff. I heard after only a small dosage of that

stuff you go into a trance and could be found wandering

around in a Harley shop with your credit card out
