I would think that if you sealed the opening where the wires go into the light that would help a lot.

Pre-emptive strike on the potential leak. Loosened the nuts crimping the wires to the housing and clear siliconed the wires and then screwed the nuts tight.

 

Wiped off excess silicone and presto, fixed.

I've read this whole thread and really like what I'm seeing.

 

Now, I wonder, how would these do running them off a headlight modulator?

 

I'll order a set of these and a modulator as soon as my truck sells.

not sure the modulation would be a good Idea.. but if you are wanting attention I can see where you are going.. as for the upside down.. mine had a small hole for moisture to vent out.. (but mine are not Froggy lights)

I tried a set of LED once in my car as headlights ... didn't project ... they looked bright but they didn't project.
