Try Ram, I got one for my 97 SE fits right on either clutch or front brake reservoir. Look for Ram dealers in your area they tend to be cheaper than ordering on line. They are based in Seattle. Mine was $33.95 CDN --> part number RAM-B-174-GA26U.

The site is easy to use and has a listing of your local dealers.

It has a double ball mount and securely holds my Garmin 785T.

Have a Ram mount for the Sat. radio, the Zumo and the drink holder. They are the best.

At the time I ordered mine, I found the best price at expressmount. I don't know it that is still the case but it is worth a look. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. Everything I've found so far, at cyclegadgets.com and at leadermotorcycle.com was around $65 on up. Big Bike didn't have anything at all. I'll try RAM.

I just use the one provided and mount it to the windshield on the left side... Never a problem and put thousands of miles on with it that way

Well heck I can buy a spare mount for $27 at Best Buy. Digger does it ever pop out of the holder clip when you hit a bump or anything? There's no good way to tether it with the stock suction cup mount and I wonder if it might jump out of it on these horrible Michigan roads.

I take a piece of fishing string and tie it off. Put 1 end around the(so the "c" clip holds it tight) unit and the other end I tie off around the chrome speaker trim:wave:

I also carry a clear plastic sandwich baggy with me in case of rain
