Wow Dean, I go to the sack and wake up and here you are.

Get second opinions if you don't like what you hear.

I'm no medical guy but those symptoms would concern me too.

Don't wait.

Agree, don't wait, get a second opinion..

I have hyperglycemia.. I have to drink a ton of water every day and I eat peanut butter crackers all the time to try to control it... Mood swings, instant rage, memory loss, confusion..just a few of the side effects when my b/s gets a lil out of whack..

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Im hopeful it is a temporary thing on the numbness.

I go to the chiro at 1pm today.... she is very good at what she does. I am also going to be put on her electrocution table, that always seems to help with my back muscle spasms.

My step dad gave us the day off, so I can just relax and hopefully get better. My face feels the same this morning as does my arm, but my leg and feet are no longer numb..

Thanks again guys for all the suggestions and well wishes, it means a lot... :worthy:

Ya guys. Thanks. Stuff like this is very scary. I was sooooo freaked. When we went to get our morning soda and Dean didnt get anything to eat, I knew something was wrong. Then HE suggested calling the doctor and I immediately started to cry.

He has never wanted to go to the doctor willingly. Im glad he did. Im glad we have such good friends that we can count on.. Thank you all so much:clap:

Im trying to, but things happen...

I'd like to be around for quite a while yet...:yes:

I feel pretty good today. My chiro hasn't gotten back from her rodeo, so I have to wait until tomorrow to see her. I done some exercises, a doctor showed me, a few years back, that helps my back, and it actually helped today.

Little numb in my face and forehead right now, but my arm feels good...

Just checked the forum. Wow Dean. Hope you are feeling better. Patti and I will keep you in our thoughts. I get the left arm going numb once in a while. Found out after 10 years of it that I have a crooked sping between my shoulder blades. Visits to the chiro puts me right again. I pray for something simple like that for you too.

After all, you are gona give me free brats and burgers next month. :scared:

Dave

Get the numbness thing checked for sure, but don't forget about the blood sugar thing. That can cause serious, irreversible damage, if gone unchecked for a long period of time.

You may want to save yourself an extra trip and not eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the appointment.

Except water or black coffee.

I drink the flavored water that they sell at Wal Mart or they have a drink like crystal light that is WalMart brand and is a lot cheaper. I make it up in a 1/2 gallon milk container, than pour it into two of the empty water bottles.
