Hi Gang!

I've been lurking the forums for a while now, just reading and learning.  I appreciate the community and all your knowledge and experiences.  I currently own a 2017 Honda VFR1200X (Crosstour) which I will trade-in for a 2018-19 Goldwing if the stars align in my favor.

My Dad owned a 1975 GL1000, which he says was the first one sold in Cedar Rapids, IA. Because of him, my interest in Goldwings and their community as always been on my radar.

If you are near Marietta, GA (outside Atlanta) hopefully we can ride somewhere for a piece of pie.

Hello Dan . Welcome to the forum family . When the GoldWing came out in 75 it was a huge change to the big bike scene. The newest generation continues to update technology.

As for pie well , I am just a bit far away for taking you up on that :( . But perhaps one day .

I hope you are finding helpful information here. Enjoy the rides and visit often.
