I've been looking at different magnetic drain plugs for my 2007 GL1800, but I can't seem to find one that's specific for the Goldwing. My thinking is that if there are any microscopic metal shavings that break loose between oil changes, they'll attach themselves to the drain plug as the oil circulates it's way through the pan. I can find magnetic drain plugs, just not any Any SPECIFIC recommendations with a stock # or part # that I can look up or search on the Internet?

I did a quick search at CycleMax and found two magnetic drain plugs listed in GL1800 maintenance.

I use the one on the right - B5-301 from Show Chrome.  I'm on the second oil change with it, and no leaks so far from that tiny little crush washer.  Also little in the way of stuff sticking to the magnet.

I had way more crud on the magnet in the final drive when I changed that this weekend - black pasty mess I assume might have been some of the original moly, or whatever they added to the final drive oil.
