Yeah, Mike

I'm worried I won't have Black Beauty back together in time to ride to my retirement gig Thursday.  :sad-face:

Congratulations, man.  I'm looking forward to retirement as well - formally in 13 years 😮  Although I'm "relaxed" now, so I guess I can't complain.

And I hear you about the snow and cold.  I can't get out of NY fast enough.  We've decided Denver isn't the right climate, so we're going to check out Charlotte, Nashville and Denver and maybe one of those will "click".  Just a matter of finding work once we're there, although I guess I can keep working mobile.

Best wishes to you and your loved ones for a safe and harmonious retirement.

We're good, they're bringing my tool box home tomorrow, and Thursday being my birthday, we're having a shot of bourbon and a fine cigar.

"0" !!!!!  First day of Spring, Jerry's Birthday (Happy Birthday my friend), and a day of closing out my formal working life. Tomorrow is my birthday and my first official day of retirement.  :SmileyTooth:

I hope you love being retired as much as I do!!!!

I felt really nervous about it as mine was an early out package.  Glad I took it as things are working out better than I expected.

I guess they couldn't get along without me because now I see the company is in Chapter 11.  My pension should be fine as it is fully funded and should be untouchable.

Day 1 of the rest of my life!  Jerry, that's as good as any to put on the list.  We've got so many, a few of which will have to wait until Leslie retires, but many are doable now.  I was born and raised in Washington and have been to and seen just about all of it except the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park.  That's one we're trying to fulfill this Summer, and since my youngest brother is retiring in June, we may get to do that together.  At some point I want to take Leslie to Alaska, loved that place, and back to a number of places we've been stationed to visit old friends.  The family of a very good friend from the Army, who passed several years ago from the effects of Agent Orange, live just outside Ft. Hood.  I plan on going to visit them and pay my respects.  Of course there's Leslie's family in Ohio, many of whom I have yet to meet.  So many things that I look forward to finally doing, not the least of which is looking you up for that cup of coffee.  :59fb607672645_SmileyToothSM:

Ride safe everyone and hopefully we'll see you out on the road.
