In search of a simple screw

I'm missing one of the screws that hold the lower cowl on the 1800 and thought I could simply go to the Honda dealer and get one.  Apparently I had two heads, because that's the look I got.  Not even the offer to order one.  Anybody have a source for these?

I have ALL of those screws and the washers to go with them if applicable, plus all of the different plastic push pins that hold the pockets in place.

you can't imagine how nice this is for me.

I just sat down with the parts list and ordered up everything that is on a fairing,

got it all from Partzilla.com as they were the cheapest to deal with after shipping is included.

I keep it all in a plastic divider box used for fishing lures so that each screw type is in a single partition.

no local dealer stocks any of those screws.

Just for clarification, that screw I mentioned is the one that goes in the lower outside of the lower cowl. There is another sized screw that goes in the upper side of that lower cowl above the timing chain cover. Make sure you get the right one because they are not interchangeable...

No problem, I plan on ordering a number of each fastener so I have them when the need arises.  Thanks again.

FYI, there is a dealer here in Tacoma WA that has the best prices I have found on OEM parts for our bikes, if you order online.  If you go to their counter they charge the retail price so I order online, delivered free to there store, then go in and pick them up.  Delivered to my house I still have to pay shipping but their prices are great.  Check out the parts you need on Partzilla then check them out at Southbound Honda.  Here's a direct link to your 2003 cowl and then a link to their general OEM fiche page.

Or, because they are just M6x11 screws, you can get them from someone like Tacoma Screw, Fastenal, Granger, etc.. Sure beats $3 a screw

Good point, I have a Tacoma Screw just down the street from work.
