I have just changed My alternator. I up graded to a 90 amp from a 40. Every thing works fine. But it seem that even if My radio works, the sound level has gone down dramatically. Any suggestions ?

I know this sounds foolish, but check and make sure the mute button hasn't been pushed or a speaker wire didn't get unplugged. Beyond that I don't know of anything else that could cause this. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Also, if that doesn't work, try pulling the radio fuse along with the backup fuse. The backup fuse is located away from the rest of the fuses over with the relays towards the bottom. Leave them both out for a minute or so and then plug them back in.

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks all, and yes it was the fuse in the relay box. The one rear of the fuse box.
