Jim in Illinois

Well since the economy went to poopy, my uncle needed to get rid of his boat. Since I have almost no debt besides my small mortgage I decided to take over his payments. So for the next few years I'll be paying for and enjoying the hell out of a 2007 Alumacraft 165 Dominator with a 2005 90hp Evintude E-Tec engine. The boat has dual depth finders, trolling motor, dual live wells, seating for 6, 6 speaker stereo system, ship to shore radio, and all kinds of other goodies I haven't found out about yet since I just got it saturday night and it rained ALL day here. I'll get some pics of it tomorrow and post em up. I'm going fishing sunday!!!!!:egypt:

Congrats on the debt jim

I have had several boats.... wouldn't want another if you paid for it and gave it to me. One time of paddling UP the Mississippi River, because the engine quit and the trolling motor battery died, is enough for me. :whip:

I do have to say though, that one time, the Kent Feeds yacht did stop and tow us back to shore. :worthy:

Yeah, I've owned boats on and off for years. The nice thing is this one oly has about 35 hours on it total ad should be fairly trouble free for quit a while. I still haven't gotten pics of the insid since everytime I go to pull the cover off it starts to rain but here's what I have for now. And a NAGF fishing trip sounds both fun AND dangerous!!!

1999JagWing

I'm not sure, but it looks a little big to pull behind the GoldWing.

And i think the wing would have trouble pulling it out of the water.

But having grown up with boats, i think it would be cheaper if you just rode the wing to the water, threw a handfull of cash in the water, and then ride to the grocery store and buy some fish.

But it is a nice looking boat, and quit worrying about the rain, the boat is waterproof.

Thanks everybody! I'm more concerned with the very expensive and not worth it digital camera getting wet than the boat. That, and I don't want to get the seats wet while I'm in the driveway acting like I'm on the water..........

We would probably have to stand on the shore and watch the Goldwings.

You know keep the bears off of them.

Fish are stupid. Fishing is stupid. People who fish are , well, interesting. I know because I am no good at it. Stupid fish. Where's the dynamite? But I would go for a ride in it. Illinois isn't far.

When it comes to fishing I'm open to suggestion. Every summer I go out, try both of my lures, don't catch squat, say to heck with it. Should I change tactics, ya think?
