Looking For Your Opinions On Themes/Skins

There is no hurry on this, I'll leave the poll up for several weeks if not longer. Please take your time to look over the 12 available themes/skins and then take the attached poll. You can select as many themes/skins as you want in each question. The results will help us determine which themes/skins we should put our focus on going forward.

Tried some of the darker ones, and did not like them at all.

Ivy League is still a bit too dark for me, am currently using Default Modified which seems to be a pale blue.

 

What I would prefer is a yellow type background for   the Default Modified-Y version

anyway of creating a theme and just making the background a different color?

Evave is awful, can't read text at top

Hallows Eve, bad, can't read text

Red Pro is very uncomfortable on my eyes

rough Country too dark, hard to find buttons

Twilight too dark, hard to read

Xpader too dark, can't find buttons

Soft Blue is usable barely, it is still too dark

Ivy League is too dark

Default is fairly usable, still too dark...

 

I much prefer a yellow background and the top colored bands to not be so heavily pronounced, when they get dark, it is hard to find the buttons.

 

Also, the poll needs to be unlocked, I can't go back and add more to the selections..... i first checked off a couple before having tested all the various themes.

I just opened up the IPS Infraskew theme, give it a look.

I like the soft blue or the Cambridge, I can't even see some of the text on the default.

That did the trick John,

 

I was able to add more votes, I like the IskaKew theme, I am running it right now, on viewed it on this one thread, will be back to comment more on it after I use it a while.

 

I like the edit in this format, it has  the neat editor options bar across the top...

if it was there before, I never saw it in the other themes.

Okay,

 

Been thru most of the forum and the IPS Infraskew theme is the best of the bunch for me....

I much prefer the condensed top header style, the other themes have so much wasted space before you can start reading the threads.

 

I would like to have a pale yellow background instead of the stark white, but even now, it is leaps and bounds better than all the other themes.

 

I like the blue outer border, kind of sets a nice calm effect.

 

Just threw in a picture to see how it shows up in this theme.

Interesting the way Insert Existing Media works, versus Upload a file.

a New Feature;

 

 

I always use "Unread Posts" as my bookmark to come to this forum, any forum for that matter.

 

Today, in the IPS Infraskew theme,  I just now noticed that when I read a new post, and then "backup" to see what else in left in the list, the post I just read is now gone. It is not showing up anymore.

 

So, I went thru the list, backed up, and yup that post is now gone.

 

Read the last post, backed up, and it said " There are no results to show in this activity stream yet " .

 

Neato IMO

Did you get rid of most of the themes? I am only seeing 3 and none of them are leading the poll.

Please note: after several weeks of theme review we will eventually trim the list down to only a few to save on data space and resources. So if you really like something, now is the time to make that known to us. Otherwise you run the risk of losing a favorite theme.

My favorite because of color blindness is the Infraskey Theme with the light gray background.

 

My eyes cannot detect buttons that are hidden- embedded in different shades of the rainbow...

 

and again, apologies to Halfling when I woke up all bent out of shape the other day.

I've taken several of the least favorite themes out of production and the list has been trimmed.

 

These themes remain.

Beta Theme Test #1 (Based on Ifraskew w/mods and is also the theme being used as our Default)
