fall camping trip to Corps of Engineers campground

We went to Lake Shelbyville, IL and camped for a second time in the Army Corps of Engineers Lithia Springs campground.  It was the last week they were open for this year.  We left 2 hours before they closed the gates at noon.  Great campground with electricity at each of the 110 spots.  It was $18 for a site but with a Senior Pass we paid $9 a night.  There is a marina just next to it that during the summer months even has a Subway food joint out on their in the lake platform.

Being it is Halloween weekend I thought I would post a picture of Estella with her Awesome Grandma costume on.  The photo does not do the deep red sky in the background.

Sure was a fun 3 days.
