CD Burning Software

I am looking for a free version of some type of CD burning software, for making music CD's. Anyone try or use anything fairly simple to use. For a woman, naturally.

I tried the Media player that comes with Windows and everything went thru the motions but the CD is blank and worthless.

You can get a cheap copy of it on Ebay!

It rocks, you can burn DVDs and CDs, as well as convert to MP3s.

Could it be a hardware problem?

K3B Best there is.

Just saw this for Windogs...

This one looks interesting. Everything worked great until I got tired of it crashing all the time. I used the recovery disk and reinstalled the system. I had a version of Roxio on there, but lost it. The burner still works for the copying software I have, but now I need a burner.

Media 11 was a new upgrade and still doesn't work. Not the most user friendly, I might add.

WMP 11 is click and drag... dont get more user friendly than that :baffled:

That parts fine. What happens when it gives you an error because there is a problem with one of the files. It tells you to click on the icon, in front of the files to resolve. Problem is....there is no icon anywhere, identifying any problem.

That's the problem when you use someone else's software, even if you did buy a license to get permission to do so.

You pay me to use my rake... you can't complain if the handle has splinters. It's still my rake.

Roxio Easy CD Creator 5. It's an old program you can probably find for free. Super easy. Click and drag files from anywhere. Best I ever saw. Click, drag, drop, burn. Voila!
