Nancy and I spent some time together today washing the roof of the camper. It was pretty dirty to say the least! After it dried I cleaned out the upper thread channels with 100% isopropyl alcohol. Then I hot it with a good coating of seam sealer!

John, some Aerospace 303 Protected helps to not only keep the top from attracting dirt, but it also acts as a 'sunscreen' and adds a measure of water repellency to it as well.
Usually found at all Marine stores

I use the floor cleaner call Fabuloso......  Works fantastic on the roof and smells great to!  Mine was pretty bad as well and needed a good scrubbing.

Just one suggestion.. One of the better waterproofing products to use on exposed fabrics is ScotchGuard! Not really that expensive, it does a good job, and lasts about a year....

I should look up Knobel Arkansas, my relative in Walnut Ridge area, plus that  town name not far off from my last name, Noblin
