cooler ?

Hi everyone new here. I got a 83 GL1100A and i am building a trailer to pull be hind, my ? is do you bolt your coolers down or just strap them down the trailer is one of those harbor freight bolt together trailers and when I worked at Cushman before they closed I got one of the boxes off a police scooter for $5. Just got done cutting the trailer down to fit the box and added a 6 foot tounge still have a lot of work to do but trying to figure out the cooler now

I used some 1 1/2" aluminium angle cut to fit, held together with pop rivets and then used a pair of square U-Bolts to hold it to the tongue.

I drilled a hole in each corner to hook the end of a bungee cord through. No problems in thousands of miles towing.

Bungee cords for sure, allows you to remove the cooler and put it in a convenient place once you are at your destination.

I prefer a ratchet strap, I have had bungee cords fail before.

Mine just sits on the front 'rack area' and is tied down with Bungee cords.

thanks all for the great info was thinking bungee cord but like beenshot idea with ratchet strap
