GL1500 seat

This is. of course, our own experience.

Have had our '95GL1500SE sidecar rig for over 13 1/2 years, to-date. Wife and yours truly put up with the hard, nasty,

very uncomfortable '95 OEM seat for 10 years [ long time on s s....not much $ for extras! ].

THEN I discovered that the 1994 & previous GL1500 seats had 1 1/2" more padding, making it slightly taller, less hard on

the human nether region. Purchased brand new 1994 OEM seat through E-Bay, from Honda dealer, who was disposing of

it's OEM 1500 inventory. Paid less than $250 for it, including shipping to NH from PA & in correct color.

IS BEST comfort purchase ever for us!  Posting this FYI for others, considering how much I've seen most aftermarket

seats cost!        .....papasmurf in NH   :)

P.S. Stitching was going on old seat anyway, so t'was time for a change!

Sounds like a great deal Tom...  When I had my 1500, a 1993, I put up with the seat for about a year and then ordered a Diamond saddle for it -  best MC investment I ever made...  That seat was still as comfortable as the day I bought it when I got rid of the bike 20 years later...

Fast forward to today - -  ordered a new Diamond saddle for my 2009 GL1800 a few weeks ago - can't wait for it to arrive...  I will say though, it was considerably more expensive than the $250 you paid!!!  And about twice the price I paid back in 1994!!!

Enjoy the ride  brother -  you got a heck of a deal!!!
