My first attempt at the HF based trailer is complete. Two days worth of work to assemble the way I wanted it. I even took pictures but I seem to have lost the cable to connect the camera to the computer. The pictures will follow when I find or buy a cable.

Ok, the maid/dishwasher hid the cable but it has been located.

How does it pull?

Does it track well?

Those the 10 inch or 12 inch tires?

It looks great!

It pulls great, I took it out before the teardown for paint and couldn't tell it was back there.

Those are the 8" wheels. It keeps the trailer level behind the bike and I've used them on boat trailers and utility trailers for years with no problems, just have to grease the bearings a little more.

It's amazing what you can make trailers out of. mine is made out of a truck bed mounted toolbox.

Here is one I saw at Hawg Waller.(local biker bash)

Close, I narrowed mine 6" and added a couple crossmembers instead of putting plywood on it.

I had put 2 aluminum angle cross members on mine also. The plywood was suppose to be temporary, but I sold it and the bike, before I had a chance to go any further with it.

Nicely done! But as my wife will tell you, if it doesn't fit in the bike it doesn't go!:tap: Actually, my bike has a hitch and all of that fine stuff and I've been thinking about getting a trailer as well.:looking:

Even a small trailer like mine makes a huge difference on trips. heck my parents get groceries on his 1500 with his trailer.
