Actually I changed my avatar and it shows the new one as active,but it is still showing my old one when I post in a thread.Now saying all that I didn't delete the old one,but like I said it does show the new one as active.

Keep in mind, that it may not be that on the new software. Not sure how in depth they re going to go info wise, I would think they would pick up avatars, but in the event that doesn't happen. Avatars are much easier to do in the software anyways.

I don't know if it's still relevant but Devans told me that CTRL + F5 does a hard refresh when changing the avatar.  I don't know if that works with the new software.

Very relevant!

 

CTRL F5 and F5 both are associated with your browser and not the forum software. F5 simply reloads the information in your browser's cache and CTRL F5 actually causes the page to reload.
